To maintain a stable supply of common marmosets to Brain/MINDS projects, we aim to secure animal breeding space, increase the number of breeding pairs, and control the animals’ health conditions. Also, to obtain marmosets with low noise/interference caused by pathological gene mutations, a breeding schedule based on genetic information of the animals will be implemented, and individuals that have pathological mutations related to neuropsychiatric diseases will be selected for future research.
