Researchers at RIKEN BRC and CIEM have, for the first time, established embryonic stem cells from somatic cell nuclear transfer embryos in the common marmoset. This advance may contribute to more efficient generation and preservation of genetically modified primate lines for brain disease modeling and regenerative medicine.
