This study reveals that astrocytic ensembles serve as multiday traces for memory stabilization. By capturing the spatiotemporal dynamics of whole-brain astrocyte responses, the work highlights non-neuronal contributions to memory processes, offering new perspectives for integrating astrocyte-neuron circuit dynamics into digital brain models of cognition and disease.
