A research team led by Professor Takuya Takahashi from the Department of Physiology at Yokohama City University used [¹¹C]K-2 PET imaging to examine AMPA receptor distribution in psychiatric disorder patients, identifying shared abnormalities across disorders. This work enhances insight into underlying biological mechanisms and may support future diagnostic and therapeutic innovations.
