There are two compensatory processes in neurological disorders: the compensation as the recovery process after acute injury such as cerebral vascular disorders (CVD) and the compensatory process with chronically progressive degeneration such as Parkinson’s disease. To reveal the mechanisms of these phenomena, we will establish the marmoset model of CVD and compare the brain activity between before and after the CVD. To reveal very early compensatory system of Parkinson’s disease is going on to establish the database of multi-dimensional imaging information connected to clinical information.
