We have been collecting brain MRI imaging data of patients with mental disorders and healthy subjects, in cooperation with other research facilities, to develop an auxiliary diagnosis method of mental disorders. Our goal of the current study is to develop novel accurate diagnostic techniques using the brain imaging database combined with genome analysis data and intermediate phenotypic data. We will provide information on neuronal circuits associated with mental disorders performing structure and functional mapping of the non-human primate brain (the marmoset brain). We will also determine the correspondence of neuronal circuits between patients with mental disorders and primate models.
