This study aims to develop a novel biomimetic system for evaluating remyelination, which is essential for the functional recovery of neural circuits. In particular, we will establish a technology to assess axonal wrapping, the final step in the remyelination process. Utilizing this technology, we will explore small-molecule compounds that promote remyelination and aim to identify potential seeds for therapeutic drug development in neurological disorders.
