To accelerate the development of treatments for neuropsychiatric disorders such as dementia, it is essential to organically integrate human clinical research with model animal studies, and in particular, technologies for cross-converting brain images between mice and humans are expected to play a crucial role. In this study, we will utilize the multimodal database of marmoset brains—including MRI and gene expression data—obtained through Brain/MINDS as an intermediate bridge between mice and humans. By doing so, we aim to overcome the limitations of existing methods related to spatial resolution and develop a technological platform that enables high-precision conversion among mice, nonhuman primates, and humans.
