Calcium signaling in neurons is essential for proper neuronal functions, and recent genomic studies have revealed that its dysfunction plays a critical role in the pathogenesis of neurodevelopmental disorders. In this study, we will investigate how calcium signaling dysfunction affects neural circuit formation and animal behavior using our original models, thereby elucidating the pathogenic mechanisms of neurodevelopmental disorders and evaluating the potential for functional recovery.
