To understand how the brain works, it is essential to advance technologies for measuring both its structure and function. In this research project, we aim to establish long-term deep brain functional imaging by leveraging our uniquely developed minimally invasive tissue-clearing method for living brain tissue, named “SeeDB-Live.” We will also accelerate whole-brain mesoconnectome mapping by further improving our original “fluorescent barcode vector” toolkit.
