Neuroscience is a field that directly relates to core aspects essential to human life and healthcare, thus attracting great expectations from society. Therefore, ethics is essential in neuroscience. We are committed to providing full support through the humanities, including philosophy and ethics, to ensure that neuroscience in Japan develops in a more ethically sound manner. By integrating uniquely Japanese values into research ethics support and neuroethics research, we aim to contribute to the advancement of neuroscience.
