Phantom limb pain is a chronic pain that occurs after limb amputation, for which there is still no effective treatment. We have previously shown that neurofeedback (NF) using a magnetoencephalography can decrease pain. In this study, we will develop EEG-NF, which combines a portable electroencephalograph and augmented reality technology that is easily used for anyone, and will clarify the effectiveness of the EEG-NF to treat phantom limb pain.
