We have been searching for potential therapeutic drugs for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) by clinical big data analysis and OCD model animals. In this project, we will evaluate the therapeutic effects of the candidate compounds on OCD. In addition, we will examine whether the candidate compounds have therapeutic effects on addiction and eating disorders, in which the symptoms with excessive repeats of certain things, as well as OCD, using animal models. Through these studies, we will evaluate the therapeutic effects of the candidate compounds for OCD, and also examine their potential application in the treatment of addiction and eating disorders.
