Yukinori Okada
Professor, The University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine
This project aims to elucidate the pathogenesis of autoimmune neurological diseases (multiple sclerosis: MS, neuromyelitis optica: NMOSD) and develop new drug seeds. Through an all-Japan collaboration of research facilities, we conduct multi-layer sequencing analysis of samples derived from patients with autoimmune neurological diseases to examine germline and somatic gene mutations and viral sequences using next-generation sequencing technology.
