Even today, when it has become possible to simulate the activity of billions of neurons in biological brain simulations, research on large-scale brain simulations with learning and behavioral functions has not progressed sufficiently. In this study, we aim to develop a system for collecting large-scale brain activity and behavioral data from animals, using simultaneous electrophysiological recordings and calcium imaging to comprehensively record brain activity data from hundreds of neurons. Furthermore, we will create a large-scale digital brain model capable of learning cognitive and behavioral tasks by developing a training method based on biological learning rules, including Hebb’s law.
