This project aims to provide an integrated structural map of the marmoset brain, as a foundational template for overlaying various functional mapping data. Furthermore, this project aims to provide genetically modified marmoset models for neurodevelopmental disorder (Rett syndrome) and neurodegenerative disease (Parkinson disease), and dopaminergic neuron-specific Cre-expressing knock-in marmosets, which contribute to understanding the pathogenesis of neurological and psychiatric disorders, using the marmoset brain maps.
