The clinical research group addresses human brain disorders and collect the type of integrative evidence that could eventually connect bidirectionally to information collected from marmoset disease models.
The missions of the group include
(1) the identification of disease-related neural circuit endophenotypes using neuroimaging, neurophysiological, and behavioral data,
(2) the discovery and development of psychiatry-oriented brain translatable biomarkers that can be measured by techniques common to humans and primates, and
(3) the establishment of neural circuit markers useful for re-classification strategies for psychiatric disorders and the development of innovative treatments for these disorders.
